SPECIFIC WEEKLY ACTIVITIES:
April 21 - 23, 2008 - Processed civil and small claims actions as received; input traffic violations and criminal actions into the court database in preparation for arraignment; and prepared scheduled traffic and criminal actions for bench trial.
April 24 - 25, 2008 - District Court staff attended the Arkansas District Judges and Clerks' meeting in Little Rock.
FOLLOW-UP ACTIVITIES: (1) Process civil and small claims actions as they are received; (2) input new citations and criminal actions as they are received from the Records Department into the database in preparation for court; and (3) determine the number of persons being held at the Phillips County jail pursuant to arrest by the City Police Department.
STAFF CONCERNS/ISSUES: Service A/C unit for the court room and replace blown light bulbs.
