CRIMES AGAINST PERSON

1. INVESTIGATORS ARE CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING A BATTERY 2ND DEGREE INCIDENT THAT OCCURRED AT 318 MILLER STREET. VICTIM LAWRENCE JACKSON, WAS TRANSPORTED TO HRMC, FOR TREATMENT AND TWO ARRESTS WERE MADE DURING THIS INVESTIGATION.

DISPOSITION: ARRESTED ROXIE HILL, AMBROSE MINOR

CHARGE(S): BATTERY 2ND DEGREE, INTERFERING W/ GOVERNMENTAL OPERATIONS

 

2. INVESTIGATORS ARE CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING A POSSIBLE BATTERY 3RD, TERRORISTIC THREATENING, & ROBBERY INCIDENT THAT WAS REPORTED BY MR. DAVID TAYLOR WHO RESIDES AT 201 OAKLAND AVE ON 04/29/2008. THERE HAS BEEN A SUSPECT NAMED IN THIS INCIDENT & THIS INVESTIGATION’S STATUS IS PENDING PROSECUTOR’ S DECISION ON FELONY CHARGES.

DISPOSITION: AWAITING PROSECUTOR’S DECISION,

CHARGE(S): BATTERY 3RD DEGREE, TERRORISTIC THREATENING, & ROBBERY

CRIMES AGAINST PROPERTY

1. INVESTIGATORS ARE CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING 3 BURGLARIES WITHIN OUR CITY TWO RESIDENTIAL AND ONE COMMERCIAL. SOME PROPERTY HAS BEEN RECOVERED BUT NO ARREST MADE AT THIS TIME.  

DISPOSITION: UNDER INVESTIGATION, SOME PROPERTY RECOVERED

CHARGES: RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, THEFT OF PROPERTY

 

 

CURRENT ACTIVITIES:

WE HAVE ACCUMULATED 38 CASES FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL; WE’VE MADE 21 FELONY ARRESTS IN THOSE 38 CASES.

3 CASE FILES HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED FOR PROSECUTION THIS WEEK

THIS WEEK INVESTIGATORS ATTENDED PAROLE HEARINGS AND PRESENTED EVIDENCE AGAINST THREE ARRESTEES IN CUSTODY.

FIREARM INSTRUCTORS TRAINING, INV. T. BIVENS- E. CAMDEN, AR

MANAGING CRIMINAL & DRUG INVESTIGATIONS CLASS, INV. B. HOLLOWAY

INSIDE THE TAPE- CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATIONS, INV. B. HOLLOWAY- HOT SPRINGS, AR

DEVELOP JUVENILE CRIME MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES- WILL TATE

STAFF CONCERNS:

THE DIVISION NEEDS THREE NEW C.I.D. VEHICLES; THREE OF OUR FOUR VEHICLES HAVE MAJOR MECHANICAL PROBLEMS.
