WEEKLY DEPARTMENT REPORT

Specific Weekly Activities

      1. Completing weekly report, (1) employee is off sick, checking bypass pump at Green Acres and pumping down lift station #7, clearing sewer on Cherry Street and checking lift stations.


      1. Checking lift stations, cleaning up around the plant, checking bypass pump at Green Acres and pumping down lift station #7, checking chlorine booster stations, checking sewer mains for stop-ups, fixing 2 inch water leak at Jackson and Franklin Streets, unloading chemical truck, repairing 2 inch water leak on Madison Street.


      1. (1) Employee is off (payback), (1) employee is off (vacation), checking bypass pump at Green Acres and pumping down lift station #7, checking for leaks out in the water system, monthly re-reads, cutting grass at lift stations.


      1. Cutting grass at the plant, checking by pass pump at Green Acres and pumping down lift station #7, checking with crew to replace sewer section at Green Acres, checking lift stations.


      1. Monthly meter reading, company is replacing section of the sewer main at Green Acres, Paul Warford (with Instrument and Supply Company) is working on valves for the plant filter system and checking the staff and flow controls at lift station #6, fixing water leak on Columbia Street, vacuum truck is sucking water from lift station #7 and dumping into lift station #3.


Future Weekly Activities

Finish running sewer pipes for lift station #5 rehab, replace suction valve and pump at lift station #3, pull pump #2 for repairs and replace suction valve.


Follow Up Activities

Getting lift station #5 rehabbed and other stations as soon as possible, finish-putting riprap on levees at the sewer ponds, finish installing by pass hook up at the remaining stations.


Staff Concerns / Issues

Scheduling classes for all employees to attend to have enough hours to renew their licenses, Terry McGinister attended AWW&WEA Conference in Hot Springs (April 28-30)
