- ACC Camp begins summer activities in North Helena Park
- Youth Transformers Camp begins at the H-WHCC
- Swim Camp deigns in North Helena Park
- Swim Camp placed order with PFG
- Preschool Camp at New Hope Church
- Pepsi delivers drink order to H-WHCC
- Post Swim Camp Activities in H-WHCC from 3pm to 5pm
- H-WHCC Staff assisted each Camp as needed throughout the day
- Tae Bo/ Weightlifting class begins at 630pm
July15, 2008
- PFG made delivery to H-WHCC
- Youth Transformers Camp washed trucks at H-WHFD
- Youth Transformers Camp went swimming
- H-WHCC Staff dug hole in North Helena Park for YTC Crosstalk Props
- Adult Free play in H-WHCC beginning at 530pm
July 16, 2008
- YTC take students to Crestpark Retirement Home/ Crestpark Therapeutic Home to visit with residents. The students were allowed to sing, play games, converse, and dance with the residents as they so desired.
- YTC viewed an inspirational film during lunch and had a group discussion about the content afterward
- Turner Dairy Inc. delivered milk and juice for Summer Food Program
- YTC have Crosstalk in North Helena at 830pm
- Tae Bo/ Weightlifting class begins at 630pm
- Volleyball begins in H-WHCC at 730pm
July 17, 2008
- Side Slide doors are being removed in H-WHCC
- YTC takes a field trip to Marianna to visit West Farms, Maple Flats and Bear Creek. Departure time at 930am return time is 430pm
- Cross prop was removed from North Helena Park and hole was refilled
- ACC Camp ending ceremony in North Helena Park Pool Pavilion beginning at 5pm
- 10th street park was groomed
- Adult Free play in H-WHCC beginning at 530pm
During the Closing Ceremony each of the following churches was presented with a certificate of appreciation from the City of Helena-West Helena, Arkansas

- PFG made delivery for Summer Food Program
- Washington Street Park was groomed
- Gerard Jackson's Party in the H-WHCC beginning at 7pm
- Week 2 pre-testing for Swim Camp begins at 530pm
- Workforce employee finish their last day working at H-WHCC
July19, 2008
- North Helena Park was groomed
- Week 2 Swim Camp continues today from 10am-12noon
- Week 2 of ACC Camp officially begins
July 20, 2008
- ACC Camp Week 2 Welcoming Ceremony begins in North Helena Park Pool Pavilion at 530pm
Future Weekly Activities:
- Cunningham/Bryant 4person Tournament at Golf Course
- School Supply Drive will be held in H-WHCC on August 13 at 6pm
- Continue to clean the park restrooms and monitor the portable restrooms each day
Follow-up Activities:
- Camp registration and pre-testing for Week 2
- Girl's softball games
- Food program continues
- Order playground equipment for Washington Street Park
- Get invoice for siding at Pool Pavilion
Staff Concerns/Issues
- Marquila Kones and Brian Greene have both completed Community Service hours at the community center
- Tazmin Wilson, Cornell Vincent, and Curtis Thomas will be needed for next weeks Camp activities
- The Camps involved 32 Preschoolers in Swim Camp, 180 Students in the Kids Swim Camp, 42 Students in the Youth Transformers Camp, and100 Volunteers from 11 different churches.
- Dixie Chopper needs to be picked up
- 737 has been repaired and picked up
- Car show and security
- Electrical work at Pool Pavilion
- Overhead door needs repair at Pool Pavilion
- Rental Fee for Park and/or Permit Fee to rent Park
- Gas usage/mileage:
