·         Condenser on Unit 3 Police

·         Fixed air seal on Unit 26 Sanitation

·         Tightened hydraulic hoses on Unit 106 Street

·         Charged battery on maroon CID Unit

  • Put hydraulic fitting on Unit 29 Sanitation
  • Put oxygen sensor on Unit 17 Police
  • Put bumper guard on Unit 15 Police (check for running hot)

  • Put fuses in Unit 26 Sanitation
  • Tightened hoses on Boom truck 106 Street
  • Replaced thermostat & anti-freeze Unit 8 Police (thermostat installed improperly
  • Fixed hydraulic hose on track hoe

8/6

  • Filled track hoe with hydraulic oil & diesel
  • Put new battery in Big Tex dump trailer
  • Put new battery and side boards on red dump truck
  • Fixed turn signal on Unit 29 Sanitation
  • Took steering column out of unit 12 Street (mosquito rig)
  • Reinstalled steering column in Unit 12 Street (column too short from Pat Kelley's)
  • F150 mosquito rig to Coleman's Auto Repair for A/C charge
  • Dually to Coleman's Auto Repair for A/C repair (charged & repaired leak)

  • Fixed right side door handle Unit 13 Street
  • Brakes & rotors on Unit 18 Police
  • Returned seat & steering column to Pat Kelley
  • Ordered wiring harness for Big Tex dump trailer

 

Potholes:

  • Springdale & Wire Rd-1
  • Miller Loop & Hwy 49-2

 

Animal control:

  • No longer picking up stray animals

 

Mosquito control:

Mosquito control-sprayed 8/4 & 8/6 Tuesday & Wednesday Sanitation route

Mosquito control is coordinated in conjunction with Sanitation route-weather permitting

Installed kennel for K-9 Unit Police

8/4

7 loads to Landfill 8/4-7 (No debris dumping on Ohio Shop by pickups)

Replaced street signs-Roseland & St Jean

Removed rocks from New Light MBC ground

Installed directional arrows at Walker Levee & Walnut St

Sprayed grass 500 block of College

Removed basketball goal from 9th & Cleburne St tennis courts Police request

8/7

Cleaned and sprayed stairs and cut grass behind Zion Hill Church on Pecan St

Assisted Police Dept in cleaning alley between No 3rd & No 2nd

Placed blue barrels at designated locations for curfew zones established by Mayor & Police

 

Future Weekly Activities:

Center St ditch

Tree removal at 600 block Cleburne, 1135 Poplar, Cline-Frazier bldg on Cherry St

Install 4-Way stops at Aaron & McDonald and Pontotoc & Arkansas Continuous cleanup of Ohio St Shop Yard
