Specific Weekly Activities

Monday 11-17-08

Ran the Lake View trash route at 4:00AM

Washed and serviced the vehicles

Picked up boxes, Corner Market, Sonics, Dollar General

Continued ditch cleaning and drainage project from S. Washington to Old Little Rock Rd and in the old park


 

Tuesday 11-18-08

Begin trash routes at 4:00AM

.Picked up boxes from Wendy's, Juengels, Boys & Girls Club

Completed the cleaning and drainage project from S. Washington to Old Little Rock Rd and in the old park

Took Mini-Track and excavated the street extention between W. Park and S. Washingtion, called Arkansas One Call for location of lines before applying gravel.

Started vacant lot excavation between Elm St. and Aaron

Begin the cleaning project for ditch drainage on S. Washington between Aaron and Elm


 

Wednesday 11-19-08

Begin trash routes begin at 4:00AM

Picked up boxes from Sears, Perry Street Market, Hoffingers

Continued ditch cleaning on S. Washington between Aaron and Elm

Westside Water Department assisted Sanitation picking up parts for unit 25 in Memphis


 

Thursday11-20-08

Begin trash routes at 4:00AM

Picked up boxes from Sonics, Corner Market, Dollar General

Installed new leaf springs on unit 25 and put it back in service

Completed ditch cleaning on S. Washington between Aaron and Elm


 

Friday 11-21-08

Begin trash routes at 4:00AM

Continued to process boxes

Replaced pin in retriever arm on unit 25

Begin the cleaning project in the 300 blk of N. Coanza back to Baringo

Constructon begin in the office building bay area for the insulated ceiling and break room area


 

Future Weekly Activities:

Continue to pick up trash

Working with Code Enforcement to establish better demoliton procedures

Follow up Activities :

Working with ADEQ to complete waste analysis

Staff Concerns:

One employee sustained leg injury during the cleaning process on S. Washington and was taking to the emergency room. He is reported to be in good condition, recovering the injury, no bones were broken
