| | Showdown at Sunset Showdown at Sunset will take place July 25 in El Dorado. The event is a historical reenactment of the legendary Marshal Tucker-Parnell Brothers gunfight that takes place on the steps of the ornate Union County Courthouse. The event features live music prior and actors are dressed in true-to-era costumes and shoot guns that look, sound and smell like the real thing. Everyone attending receives a free Showdown at Sunset trading card and the cast is available for pictures and autographs prior to and immediately following the Showdown. After the show, an outdoor Summer Concert Series takes place at Oil Heritage Park. If you miss this performance you can catch it on August 29 as well.
