SANITATION DEPARTMENT PROGRESS REPORT


 


 

SPECIFIC WEEKLY ACTIVITIES


 

MONDAY 6-1-09


 

Ran Lakeview trash route

Ran commercial trash route

Hauled several loads of dirt to Porter, Liberty & Beech streets

Washed Sanitation trucks    

Bought water coolers for trucks    

Had Dodge 2500 Truck labled with decals for Sanitation Department

Sprayed several ditches with round-up

Cut grass and cleaned up West Side Sanitation Shop

John Deere Dozer is out of service/parts were ordered

Ordered parts for John Deere Tractor

Received GMC Suburban from shop/transmission was rebuilt

Four youth reported to work for County Summer Youth Program


 


 


 

Tuesday 6-2-09


 

Ran routine trash routes residential and commercial

Loaned one weed eater to Parks and Recreaction

Loaned one John Deere riding mower to Parks and Recreaction

Picked up several boxes for recyling efforts

Five youth reported to work for Work Force Summer Youth Program

Cut several lots and alleys on West-Side also sprayed with Roundup

Hauled several loads of debris from Holly Street House Razing

Rented a John Deere Dozer From Brown Equipment Inc.

Towed Plymouth van to shop for repair

Ordered Diesal oil for Routine Oil changes for all Sanitation Trucks


 


 

Wednesday 6-3-09


 

Ran routine trash routes resdential and commercial

Picked up boxes for recyling efforts

Mowed several allys with small J D tractor with bush hog

Sprayed several ditches and allys with round up

Started training two new CDL Drivers

Delivered several residential carts to residents

Replaced several commercial dumpsters with refurbished ones

Received 55 gallon diesel oil forroutine oil changes


 

Thursday 6-4-09


 

Ran regular trash routes residential and commercial

Picked up several boxes for recyling efforts

Delivered several residential carts to residents

Truck #26 out of service/starter ordered


 

Friday 6-5-09


 

Ran regular trash routes commercial and residential

Truck # 26 still out of service

Picked up several boxes for recyling efforts
