WEEKLY ACTIVITIES:

Monday 11-30-09

Begin the regular Lakeview trash route at 4:00am

Serviced the trucks units 24, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30

Unit 25 still out of service, spoke with Jamie McCoy of River City Hydraulics, he suggested we bring the unit to Little Rock

Assisted the Street Department clearing the ditch on the corner of Rembrant and Lithicum in Helena Crossing, using the mini-track

Delivered dumpsters to 110 Pershing and Sub City Car Wash, both 2 yard

Tuesday 12-1-09

Begin the regular trash route at 4:00am

Repaired heater and hopper light on unit 26

Charged battery on box shop fork lift

Assisted Street Department pulling out unit 105, stuck behind Radio Shack

Delivered carts to 416 College, 414 Helen, 727 E. Cleburne, 1428 Pecan, 138 Westwood, 450 Desoto, 807 Poplar and 332 N. 6th

Picked up boxes from

Wednesday 12-2-09

Begin the regular trash route at 4:00am

Replaced brake light connector harness on box shop truck

Replaced wiper blades on unit 26

Replaced hydraulic line on unit 21

Picked up 2 carts 602 Ladino and 101 Porter

Thursday 12-3-09

Begin the regular trash route at 4:00am

Cleaned up oil spill caused by broken hydraulic line on unit 26 at Adams and Beech streets

Dumped missed carts at 115 Summit and 805 Old Dominion

Volunteered with Delta Fellowship Church making preparation for the Delta Christmas Project

Friday 12-4-09

Begin the regular trash route at 4:00am

Replaced the hydraulic line on unit 26

Delivered a cart to 118 Tennessee

Replaced a cart 512 Perry

Picked up a cart 443 Kentucky, 2 at 320 N. 10th

Picked up 2 yard dumpster from Waddell Realty

Made preparations for an entry in the Christmas Parade

Continued to process the boxes collected for the week

Total tonnage taken to Landfill 19.55

FOLLOW UP ACTIVITIES:

Writing estimates for Code Enforcement

Continuing to collect the discarded paper

Spoke with Robert Hunter of ADEQ, the electronic waste collection has been scheduled after the first on the year. The exact date has not been confirmed at this time.


 

FUTURE ACTIVITIES:

Razing dilapidated structures condemned by Planning Commission

Purchasing a new refuse truck

Selling the processed paper
