Weekly Activities:

Monday 9-28-09

Begin the regular Lakeview trash route at 4:00am

Serviced units 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30

After a brief rainy period we continued the dirt excavation at 1005 Arkansas St.

Assisted the Parks and Recreation Department hauling pea gravel with the blue dump truck

Replaced the straps for the arm on unit 26

Picked up and delivered carts

Picked up boxes from Kidney Care, Food Pantry – 2 loads, Beech Crest, Delta Gypsy, Juengle, Wendy's, Sonic-2 loads, Kwik Stop, JF Wahl and Central High.


 


 

Tuesday 9-29-09

Begin the regular trash route at 4:00am

Continued the dirt excavation at 1005 Arkansas

Assisted the Parks and Recreation Department with another load of pea gravel hauled with the blue dump truck

Charged the battery on the Dozer and contracted a dirt fill at 501 Kelley

Repaired the radiator leak on the blue dump truck

Goodyear repaired a flat on the driver side rear of the red dump truck

With the dozer we cleared the road from the Camp Ground in the River Park to the boat landing on the river ramp, for Blue Festival campers

Picked up and delivered carts

Picked boxes from Sonic, Food Pantry, Beech Crest, Central High, Watson Flowers, Wendy's, Family Dollar Store, Corner Market, Dixie Furniture, Kidney Care and JF Wahl.


 

Wednesday 9-30-09

Begin the regular trash route at 4:00am

Removed the pump from the blue dump truck

Assisted the Parks and Recreation Department hauling pea gravel with the red dump truck

Picked up and delivered carts

Picked up boxes from Sonic, Family Dollar Store, Central High, Kwik Stop, Pit Stop Liquor Store, JF Wahl, Food Pantry, Wendy's, Corner Market. Kidney Care, Juengle and Dixie furniture


 

Thursday 10-01-09

Begin the regular trash route at 4:00am tightened the hydraulic line on unit 26

Repaired the hose on unit 26

Removed the cylinders from unit 21

Picked up and delivered carts

Picked up boxes from Sonic, Food Pantry Kidney Care, Wendy's, JF Wahl, Central High, beech Crest, Corner Market, Sears and Roberson furniture.


 

Friday 10-02-09

Begin the regular trash route at 4:00am

Replaced the PTO and filled with fluid on unit 21

Picked up and delivered carts

Picked up boxes from Pizza Hut, Phillips County Health Unit, Central High, Kidney Care, Beech Crest, Factory Connection, Wendy's, Statons Rental , and Radio Shack


 

FOLLOW UP ACTIVITIES:

Continuing to write bid proposals for demolition contracts to submit to Code Enforcement

Making sure that final preparation for the Blue Festival are complete

Back dragging the road from the camp ground to the River Ramp needs to be done one more time

Entering the Home Coming Parade


 

FUTURE ACTIVITIES:

Contacting ADEQ on plastic recycling

Continuing to assist other Departments when needed

Working open cases

Investigators are following up on Tyronza Smith case and expecting results from the ASCL on evidence submitted in the case.

Investigators are following up on the case of Quanteria Smith and expecting results from the ASCL on evidence submitted in the case. The suspect has been moved from the county jail to another detention facility.

Investigators are following up on the HNB Robbery case. We are currently following several leads regarding this case.

Investigators are assisting with traffic control during school hours in the areas of Miller Jr High and Westside Elementary.
