WEEKLY REPORT

Weekly Activities:

Monday 4-19-10

Began the regular Lakeview trash route at 4:00am

Serviced the trucks, units 21, 24, 26, 27, 29 and 30

Continued to mop the ditches on Jordan Street with the back hoe and blue dump truck

Replaced the front wheel bearing on box shop truck and repaired a flat

Replaced toggle switch on unit 27

Replaced the bolts in the retriever arm of unit 26

Picked up boxes from

Total tonnage taken to Landfill 4-16-10 24.80

Total tonnage taken to Landfill 31.10


 

Tuesday 4-20-10

Began the regular trash route at 4:00am

Dumped and leveled two loads on dirt on the Sims fence project

Delivered a 6 yard dumpster to 1027 Arkansas

Rewired fuse holder on unit 29

Box shop ran hot added anti-freeze

Took 6 yard to Smith Welding for repair

Took 4 yard dumpster to Fonzie's Blues Club Thursday

Picked up boxes from

Wednesday 4-21-10

Began the regular trash route at 4:00am

Dumped and leveled two loads of dirt on the Sims fence project

Continued to mop the ditches on Jordan Street with the back hoe and blue dump truck

Replaced fuses and wiring harness on unit 29

Replaced the PTO shaft u-joints on unit 24

Each pick up unit was equipped with brooms, shovels and rakes

Thursday 4-22-10

Began the regular trash route at 4:00am

Hauled to three loads of Fairview and leveled a lot next to the ditch we repaired

Serviced the Ford 9000 tractor trailer and replaced the air supply valve

Delivered carts to 301 Ladino, 421 Bonanza, 1015 Walnut, 121 Ashler, 227 Westwood, 1105 Ohio, 209 North 4th, 425 South Sam, 905 Walnut

Replaced carts at 716 Bennet and 338 North 10th

Picked up boxes from

Total tonnage taken to Landfill 30.74


 

Friday 4-23-10

Began the regular trash route at 4:00am

Continued to install the air valve on the Ford 9000 tractor trailer

Installed the culvert on Jordan Street

Assisted the Street Department on 10th and Garland on a culvert project with the back hoe and the blue dump truck

Picked up boxes from

Tonnage not complete at report time


 

FOLLOW UP ACTIVITIES:

The dirt work has been completed on the Sims ditch project. Hardmans will re-erect the fence next week

Writing estimates for Code Enforcement

Completing the Washington Street drainage project

Completing the dirt work on both sites on Arkansas Street

Repairs to unit 25 not complete

Century Hydraulics should have the cylinders for unit 28 completed in the very near future

Selling the processed paper to the highest bidder

Work with ADEQ on plastic recycling


 

FUTURE ACTIVITIES:

Razing dilapidated structures

Working with ADEQ on finalizing electronic waste collection


 

STAFF CONCERNS:

All employees are back from bereavement leave, no other major concerns at this time
