Began the regular Lakeview trash route at 4:00am
Washed and serviced units 21, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30, using a high pressure washer from Browns Rental
Replaced right rear tire on back hoe
Replaced two hydraulic hoses on unit 28
Delivered carts to 514 Hawkins, 215 Nth 8th two carts, 1113 Cherry and 140 Sacred Heart
Picked up a cart at 308 Cresent Dr.
Replaced a cart at 12 Woodale
Picked up boxes from JF Wahl, Wendy's, Central High Phillips College, Sonic Family Dollar Corner Market, Kipp, Conoco Helena Crossing, Sears, Pit Stop, West Helena Flowers, Watson Flowers, West Acres Conoco, Something Special, Nell Miller, Dixie Furniture, Miller Jr., Beech Crest, Helena National, Hibbett Sports and Jordan Kwik Stop

Began the regular trash route at 4:00am
Mechanic checked the brakes on unit 29 they were sticking and creating extreme smoke, fluid was added and apparently solved the problem
Goodyear repaired a flat on the back hoe, left rear tire
Assisted the Street Department hauling a load of dirt and using the mini track on the Valley DR. drainage project
Hauled three loads of dirt to the Barnigo ST. demolition project
Hauled one load of dirt to R&J Day Care on Elm and Columbia
No carts picked up or delivered
Picked up boxes from Sonic, Family Dollar, Central High, Wendy's, JF Wahl, Greenway Implements, Kidney Care, Dixie Furniture, Pit Stop, Food Pantry, Myrna, Kipp, Bedroom Warehouse, Hibbett Sports, Sears, West Helena Gallery Show Room, Corner Market, Food Pantry and Southern Furniture

Adjusted the brake system on unit 21
Boosted the blue and white dump truck
Started the demolition project at 313 Nth 3rd
Hauled a load of sand to The Church of The Living God on Memphis and Alabama
Delivered carts to 726 Liberty, 119 Sacred Heart and 604 St. Regis
Picked up carts at 1126 Ohio and 212 Mc Donough
Replaced carts at 97 Rose Circle and 115 Avalon Place
Picked up boxes from Central High, Wendy's, Hoffinger, Conoco Helena Crossing, Corner Market, Calhoun Funeral Home, Myrna, Payless and Kidney Care

Began the regular trash route at 4:00am
Check brakes on unit 29 and added fluid
Charged the battery on the fork lift
Replaced the fuel filter on the box shop truck
Completed the demolition at 313 Nth 3rd
Assisted the Street Department with the use of the back hoe cleaning the boat ramp at the River Park Landing
Picked up boxes from Wendy's, Central High, JF Wahl, Corner Market, Southern Furniture, Sonic, Food Pantry and Clover
No carts picked up or delivered
Total tonnage taken to Landfill 18.36
Friday 9-24-10
Began the regular trash route at 4:00am
Replaced the hydraulic oil sending unit on unit 29
Repaired the brake system on unit 21
Rewired the PTO on unit 27
Escorted the track hoe to shop for service
Continued to process boxes collected for the week

FOLLOW UP ACTIVITIES:
Completing the Washington Street drainage project
Writing estimates for Code Enforcement
Selling the processed paper to the highest bidder
FUTURE ACTIVITIES:
Razing dilapidated structures
Completion of the Sims ditch project
Working with ADEQ on plastic recycling
STAFF CONCERNS:
Staff concerns at this time, one employee has been terminated due to a flagrant abuse of policy procedures. One CDL position open
