11/19/10
T Wilson replaced blown fuses in police unit # 15 and serviced sticking cooling fan
T Wilson went to Circle Dr to repair sanitation unit # 27- replaced relay fuse
T Wilson replaced light on unit # 28
T Wilson replaced bolts on sweeper brooms on borrowed unit from Jonesboro

T Wilson repaired flat tire on backhoe- plugged tire
T Wilson used portable air tank to air all low tires on vehicles on the yard
T Wilson boosted off forklift and stacked empty pallets from the box shop
T Wilson added antifreeze to sanitation unit # 26

T Wilson repaired arm on sanitation unit # 29
T Wilson adjusted brakes on sanitation unit # 26 and tightened arms
T Wilson replaced wiper blades on flatbed truck

T Wilson serviced police unit # 15- needs power steering pump
T Wilson boosted off forklift
T Wilson repaired unit # 30 trailer tire- plugged tire
T Wilson removed paper bail from box shop
Potholes:

Cut and Mowed:
Crews cut around several signs and overgrown areas with weed eaters in the Helena Crossing area
Womack and crew cut back overgrowth @ the corner of Wooddale and Market St
Crew cut ditch @ the corner of Holly and Walker with weed eater
Animal Control:
Unit # 103 dispatched to the 100 block of Anderson St- Police Department put down (2) pit bulls that were attacking an elderly citizen and others according to witnesses at the scene. Both animals were removed from the area
Checked the 900 block of Walnut St for strays- citizen complaint
Other Activities:
Continuous removal of debris throughout city on designated trash routes

E Jimmerson hauled 290 tires to waste disposal site
Several street signs were straightened and repaired in the North Helena area
Womack inspected the Springdale Rd and Neil Rd worksites after rains to assess the rainwater run-off affects – no apparent damage
Womack contacted the area supervisor for the phone company – low hanging wire in the alley behind Beechwood Apts.
Trash schedule sent via Email to local media outlets
Womack inspected washout area on the corner of First and McDonough St – Rev Williams's property
Paper detail crew worked South Franklin and Porter St
Stop sign repositioned @ the corner of First and Wooddale

Hard trash runs by loader trucks advanced to accommodate the holiday schedule – routes will be assessed on 11/26 to determine any needed hard trash runs
Paper detail on South, Oak, Oak Grove Cemetery Rd., and Old Little Rock Rd. from Alan St. to Lambert Dr. by # 103 and # 30. Crews cleaned roadsides and ditches in the area
Womack surveyed (2) additional washout areas on Springdale Rd – Street crews will repair as soon as weather permits

Road barricades placed on Walnut St for annual Thanksgiving Dinner hosted by Common Stride in the 100 Block of Walnut St
Road barricades removed @ 3:00 PM
Street crews cleaned drains after heavy rains
Cross @ Cooke St- street sign replaced- damaged by vehicle
