Began the regular Lakeview trash route at 4:00am

Washed and serviced the trucks units 21, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30

Repaired the starter on unit 21

Repaired the starter on unit 26

Picked up boxes from Sonic, Wendy's, Beech Crest, Central High, Watson Flowers, Corner Market, Conoco Helena Crossing, Kidney Care, Sears, Juengel Interiors and JF Wahl

Delivered carts to 900 Franklin, 41 West Park and 211 Quarles Lane

Repaired the hopper light on unit 29

Began the demolition project in the 300 block of Desoto Street

Repaired the tail lights on unit 29

Tightened the arm fingers on unit 26

Repaired a flat on the fork lift

Serviced the track hoe, dozer and the red and white box shop truck

Picked up carts from 316 Beech, 623 Beech, 403 South Baringo, 426 South Coanza, 411 South Baringo and 215 North 8th

Picked up boxes from Sonic, Wendy's, Beauty Mania, Shoe Show, Cato, Corner Market, Kidney Care, Central High, Beech Crest and Roberson Furniture

Picked up 4 yard dumpster from John Deere and returned it to the yard

FOLLOW UP ACTIVITIES:

Spoke with Shop Foreman at Glovers in Little Rock, the estimated repairs on unit 25 have reached an amount of possibly $10,000.00

Writing estimates for Code Enforcement

Completing the Washington Street drainage project

Completing both dirt work projects on Arkansas Street

Selling the processed paper to the highest bidder

Working with the Street Department on the Valley Drive drainage project


 

FUTURE ACTIVITIES:

Continuing to raze dilapidated structures

Working with ADEQ on plastics recycling

Plans have been completed for the electronic waste collection. It has been set for May 26th

Working on final plans for the Sims ditch project

The employee that was out sick has returned to work
