CRIMES AGAINST PROPERTY
Investigators are currently investigating 4- Residential Burglaries, and 5- Theft of Properties.

CRIMES AGAINST PERSONS
Investigators are currently investigating 1 alleged Terroristic Act, Aggravated Assault x2, Battery 1, and 1 Unlawful Discharge after a shooting incident in the area of Art, Alice, and Baker where on 8 year old boy was shot along with several vehicles and a house. There has been one arrest made (Darius Shears) and one remaining active warrant in this case.
Investigators are currently investigating 1 alleged Terroristic Act after a resident of Center Street reported that someone threw in her home what appeared to be a homemade cocktail containing several flammable liquids. There has been a suspect named in this case and warrants are pending further investigation.
Investigators have made one arrest in the Battery of Ms. Kizzie Diamond, after her son Curtis Diamond assaulted her after a dispute inside her residence located in the 1200 blk. of Garland. Diamond has been charged with Domestic Battery 2nd Degree.

Investigators have conducted several drug operations this week, that appear to possibly net numerous drug arrest in the near future.

Investigators have opened an active Negligent Homicide investigation in the death Steve Bell that occurred last month.
Investigators are also investigating 2 -Forgeries and 1 -Identity Theft for the past week.
