Mary Ruth Hollowell Has Passed Away

I am saddened to learn that Mrs. Mary Ruth Hollowell, mother of long serving city council member Jay Hollowell, has passed away this afternoon. Mrs. Hollowell had recently been hospitalized in Little Rock. For many years, Mrs. Hollowell was the face and voice of Helena National Bank. At the main branch on Cherry Street, one could count on seeing Mrs. Hollowell sitting front and center helping customers, taking phone calls and otherwise directing traffic and transactions.

Our community has certainly suffered a loss. I ask that you join me in praying for the family during this difficult time.
Sincerely, James F. Valley, Mayor CITY OF HELENA-WEST HELENA, AR J. F. VALLEY, ESQ., P.A. P O BOX 451 HELENA, AR 72342 (866)786-9885
