Staff Issues/Concerns

1.        Much larger television and floor mats for exercise classes; Great participation!

2.        Seeking ways to implement a more stringent protocol for offenses committed by patrons of the HWHCC

3.        Two-way Radios

4.     Significant drop in children attending center, typical during this time of year. There is an increase in adult participation in Parkers' exercise program and other forms of adult recreation. 

5.    Kitchen stove needs to be replaced.

Crews cut around several signs and overgrown areas with weed eaters in the Helena Crossing area

Womack and crew cut back overgrowth @ the corner of Wooddale and Market St

Crew cut ditch @ the corner of Holly and Walker with weed eater

Animal Control:

Unit # 103 dispatched to the 100 block of Anderson St- Police Department put down (2) pit bulls that were attacking an elderly citizen and others according to witnesses at the scene. Both animals were removed from the area

Checked the 900 block of Walnut St for strays- citizen complaint

CRIMES AGAINST PROPERTY

Investigators are currently investigating 5 cases of Residential Burglaries, 1 case of Criminal Trespassing & 1 case of Breaking & Entering. Property was recovered in 1 case with 1 suspect arrested, and all cases are still under investigation.

Investigators are currently investigating 1 case of Theft of Property involving a vehicle in which a suspect has been named. This case is still under investigation.

Investigators are also investigating 1 case of Criminal Mischief and this case is still under investigation.

CRIMES AGAINST PERSONS

Investigators are currently investigating 2 alleged cases of Sexual Assault involving two juveniles; these cases have suspects listed and are currently under investigation, but no arrests has been made at this time.

Investigators are currently investigating 2 cases of Terroristic Act involving multiple parties; these cases are still under investigation, but no arrests have been made at this time.

Investigators are also investigating 1 case of Counterfeit, 1 case of Identity Theft, and 1 case of Unauthorized Use of Credit Card. These cases have suspects listed and are currently under investigation.
